The facility is dynamic and built from scratch and they use local suppliers to provide the food. The facility contains a gift shop, coffee counter, Restaurant (300 covers) and terrace, supplying hot and cold food, snacks and pastries. A busy lunch service is the norm. Currently the turnover is £1.2million.

There is potential for this site to evolve as a new separate building will be focused on banqueting business. You will report into the GM.

This role of National account manager requires a people person, someone that has a previous role within a hotel group and that understands and has a strong working relationship with agencies. The position will involve developing the international markets to a small degree but the main focus will be in the domestic corporate market.

You must be able to promote the properties of this group of nation wide 4* and 5* properties – predominantly located within London. It does not matter where you are located within the UK, as long as you are able to communicate well and have a drivers license (a company car can be included in the package if required), as you will be expected to travel in order to develop relationships with agents and drive business, however you can be based from home.

Ideally you will be coming from a 5* hotel background at the same level, or at least have been the regional sales manager within the hospitality sector.

Job Description
Our client is a small and personal chain of quality driven 4* and 5* boutique style hotels that are based across the UK. There are a mixture of different locations within the group but most with under 100 rooms.
The role will require that you already have a good firm base of business travel agent contacts that you can use to bring with you into this challenging role, it is a necessity of the groups size which requires that you can use your three or four existing agency contacts.
It will also be your responsibility to bring in new corporate sales contacts, so you will need to be close to the action and very much involved with active business lead generating and relationship building. You will ideally be from a similar hotel group/role so that you can bring your knowledge for the role, your organized and structured attention to detail for the job with you.
This role will require that you travel for 2/3 weeks of the month as you will also be responsible for the development of the awareness of business travelers for the group into three new European cities, the cities locations themselves will be lead by yourself and your previous exposure, experience and language skills ~(ideally French and German). The role requires a driven, knowledgeable person that has sparkle, drive and is happy to work with a very determined and dedicated team, the environment is very open and you will need to be able to have strategic planning in place and to get stuck in at a very close level to your clients/contacts. This is a role for a people person with spirit and sparkle and a natural passion – the product is fantastic and so your skills will need to match.
